2007 GARDEN FAIRE IS VOTED A RESOUNDING SUCCESS!

+ THE BRAND NEW HALL PROVED TO BE
A VIBRANT SITE AND OUR STAFF, UPDATED SIGNAGE AND ADVERTISING
PROGRAM PRODUCED APPROX 2,500+ HAPPY CUSTOMERS !
The covered walkways for our customers to shop
in, the easy offloading and vendor parking, brand new electrical,
water, kitchen and bathrooms, great customer parking and new
entrance set-up.
FYI-
As it was the very first year in a new building, WE LEARNED
ALOT! And so we will adjust and adapt to what we learned:

With 5 doors open the hall became a wind tunnel and was colder
indoors than out! So we’ll only have 1 Main entrance
open with an exit door open-able, and have limited access
to two other doors and leave the huge door closed at all times.

Shoppers “oohed & aahed” but sales were slow...
we know mostly from it being the last Saturday of the month
(due to Easter). We’re back to the FIRST Sat of month...hurray!

The posts inside 6 spaces gave us electricity accessibility
but were a layout challenge for some vendors. This year we
will discuss set up needs with affected vendors more thoroughly.
There
are other adjustments we’ll make as to volume lowering
of balcony music, parking signage, vendor bathroom breaks
and coffee refill service, and effective ‘Supporters
display’. Vendors also felt street signs needed more
wording to draw in customers looking for fine art and crafts
and not just garden related wares.

2008
DEADLINES -your application with check must
be postmarked by:
Feb 1st to receive
the returning vendor’s discount & to rebook same
space as 2007.
Returning Vendors= $45 plus
10% on gross sales above $450. (at $500 add $5.00)
New Vendors= $60 plus 10% on gross sales
above $450. (at $500 add $5.00)
Feb 2nd
& later= $75 plus 10% on gross sales above $450. (at $500.
add $5.00) & accepted on a space-available basis only.
Most years, we have 75% of our vendors returning,
so we encourage you to rebook early. There are sometimes eleventh-hour
cancellations for illness or emergencies, but many years there
are no available spaces after mid February, even at the last
minute.
If you would like a different space than you
had in 2007, we will give you first chance at what’s
still available after Feb 1st.
We
